moisture
i'm very happy to see that the afternoon thunderstorm weather pattern has returned, at least for the time being. i think it went on sebattical last year. the rain has made the trails about as good as they get around here. everything has turned a vivid green, and the moisture in the air has made for an olfactorally pleasing experience, except when riding on the bike path and the sewage smell is especially strong. as we approached the gold camp parking lot i smelled it. the cheyenne canyon summer smell. it's a mix of granite dust, pine and dry heat. a very comforting smell that brings back memories of 14 years of getting my adrenaline fix in cheyenne canyon.
team blue made it to cycling news. the top of the first lap at Big Bear.
did i mention yesterday how greg, katie and i were like a freight train railing down the forester, jones park, bear creek trails and high drive. 1,2,3, or rather 123. Schumacher, Coulthard and Baricchelo. damn that was fun.
