i havent ridden since saturday. i dont have the usual feeling of impending explosion if i dont ride, but something is certainly amis. i think i'll ride around town tonight.

i've also noticed that driving to work sucks. i already knew it was a suck, but wasn't fully aware of the depths of its suckatude. i dont even know how long it takes to drive to work. i always think of it as not taking any time at all, but every day i drive to work, i'm late, so it has to take some time as i dont leave after i'm supposed to be here. i think it takes as much as 14 minutes, especially if you dont take the freeway (through two exits!). i have it to 17 min on the road bike at a pedestrian pace, albeit mostly downhill (both ways) and 21 on the mtb and 90% dirt. plus you have to sit in your car and see other people driving, and if there arent any good songs on kepc and if npr is sucking then you have to search through all sorts of crappy radio. its a good thing i'm ready to ride again.
