TeamBlue Tuesday, May 13, 2003: 3 every moring i try to leave. i usually have to make between 2 and 11 exits depending on how you count. this morning i added things to the messenger bag 3 times, locked the front door twice, but only closed the garage once. it was a victory. if memory gets worse with age, i'm doomed for idocy. the problem seems to be less appearant when i do morning workouts. it doesnt seem to matter what i forgot. i always have enough for the ride. doing moring rides is generally preferable to afternoon rides. morning rides give a lucky feel to the day. the positive energy wains around 1 or 2, but after that its not any worse than a usual day. evening rides are lucky to look forward to all day, and i get the "I'M FREE" feeling when riding away from work in my lycra superhero outfit. but a good evening ride doesnt end until dark, then there's all this cleaning and eating and relaxing to do in the short time before bed. always too excited to sleep. all the lucky feeling is wasted on sleep. (not saying sleep isnt lucky, but its lucky in its own right, doesn't need the ride's luck). i guess i should resume my resistance-to-waiking-up-early training. doug // 10:46 Comments: Post a Comment
